Dear Parents and Carers
We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to inform you about the recent Ofsted inspection that took place at Spinfield school in May. As you may be aware, this was an ungraded inspection, which means that we have not been awarded specific grades for the various areas outlined in the inspection framework, However, it is contextualised by our last full inspection in December 2019 where across the 5 areas assessed, Spinfield was graded Good across 3 and Outstanding across 2. Although not specifically graded the inspections does highlight whether standards have been maintained, deteriorated or have improved and we are extremely pleased to report that the overarching outcome statement confirms that 'evidence gathered during this ungraded inspection suggest that the school's work may have improved significantly across all areas since the previous inspection.
The report recognises significant improvements in key areas, including the Quality of Education, Early Years provision, and Leadership and Management. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire school community. Our collective efforts have contributed to making Spinfield a place where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The inspector particularly recognised that Spinfield continues to provide outstanding provision in developing our children's personal development, behaviour and attitudes whilst also inspiring them to achieve highly. It is heartening to see that the nurturing environment we strive to create is acknowledged and we'd like to thank the Spinfield Team for their unwavering commitment to fostering a positive atmosphere for all our children.
We encourage you to take the time to read the full Ofsted report, as it thoroughly captures the amazing achievement of our school community and once again we'd like to take the opportunity to thank the teachers, support staff, volunteers, parents and of course the children for making Spinfield a special place. Your support and involvement are vital in our continued success and we look forward to our ongoing partnership in creating the best possible education experience for our children.
Thank you for your continued support
